Pamela Ayuso is an entrepreneur, writer, and mother with a passion for reading and writing. She is the author of Amazon’s best-selling book, Heptagram: The 7-Pillar Business Design System for the 21st Century. Her husband and three wonderful daughters inspired the stories of her children’s books, Alicia and Bunnie Paint a Mural and Amanda and Sophia’s Adventures in the Forest. Currently, Pamela is co-founder and CEO of Celaque, Honduras’ largest office and residential building developer, with a wide portfolio of properties. Her focus is on growing Celaque into a model for the 21st-century company.

PAMELA'S STORY

Pamela Ayuso is a real estate entrepreneur and developer with executive leadership experience in two of the most successful real estate developers in Honduras—managing operations at Alianza and leading Celaque.

During her time at Alianza, Pamela was responsible for the commercial management of over $50 million in real estate properties. Currently, she is co-founder and CEO of Celaque, which has a wide portfolio of properties and is the country’s largest office and residential building developer. Pamela focuses on growing Celaque into a model for the 21st-century company.

Pamela earned a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in finance and accounting from Ithaca College and a Master of International Affairs in international finance from Columbia University. Pamela serves as President and Founder of Liquidambar, an NGO devoted to the development of Honduras. She is also Secretary of the Board of Directors at Asociación Creciendo Juntos and a member of the Board of Directors and the Board’s Finance Committee at FEREMA.

When she is not busy building a 21st-century company, Pamela writes an entrepreneurial blog on www.pamelaayuso.com and LinkedIn. What I like most about your blogs, Pamela, is that all of your advice is immediately usable and not just theoretical.

I think it's important for a business to try and build process for the future, systems and processes they can grow into. Often times with growth you can get caught flat-footed with little time to build the infrastructure or create the habits to fulfill the process. Attaching KPI's to stages within the process is a great measure to see operational efficiencies improve. Great article thanks for sharing!
